It’s finished.
You can go here to download “The Trials of Soscaides”, a mini role-playing game. If you tried it out before, you can now finish the adventure. With any luck, you won’t even run into any bad bugs, because I think we caught all the major ones =)
After spending a fair bit of my free time over the last couple months creating and testing the game’s adventure, and ending up with about two hours of playing time, I have a new appreciation for people who make full-length games. It’s a lot of work!
Special thanks to Jamie for finding some bugs and of course to Gaelan for going on this crazy adventure with me.

*spoiler warning*
I’ve brought home wheat, impressed the barracks guy with my throwing skills, killed the harpies, killed the cyclops, killed the lion (ps, nice mountain goat on Goat Island), killed a batch of centaurs who were tending their farm, hollowed out the shipwreck.
But I’m stuck! I thought the centaur bigwigs would talk to me after I took out their farmers, but no. I can’t get past the Big Rock in the cave.
I can’t find it on Gamefaqs, so I’m bugging the devs. Help?
Never mind! Just found out that I have to see a man about a goat.
My apologies for spamming. If you’d like to tidy your blog, I won’t cry if you delete my earlier 2 posts.
I just finished it! It was awesome! Well put together, I was able to apply my standard RPG laws (“how do I move giant rocks… wait! who was the only person to allude to rocks?” and “Who would tell me where the dungeon is?”). It was a blast. Thanks for the time you two put into it.
If you ever decide to do it again, let me know if you need slave labour.
Thanks for the feedback, Rob. Glad to hear you enjoyed it, and that you got your goat eventually =)
